Juhong Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of international trade and he advises clients on a wide range of customs/import and export regulatory issues in connection with goods imported to, and exported from, Korea.

As a member of the firm's International Trade &Customs Practice, he is active in advising clients on virtually all trade compliance issues such as customs audits, valuation, classification, country or origin marking, preferential duty treatment under various international trade agreements, export controls, trade sanctions, antidumping, and other related matters.

Mr. Kim also has extensive experience in a wide range of cross-border transactions, including share and asset purchases and joint ventures, corporate governance, competition law, and general corporate and commercial law matters. He has advised many multinational companies in setting up their Korean operations.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kim practiced in the areas of international trade compliance and disputes at Baker & McKenzie in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Kim received his B.A. from Dickinson College and his J.D., and M.I.P. from Franklin Pierce Law Center. Mr. Kim also studied at International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan. He is admitted to the New York and the Washington, D.C. bars, and he is also admitted to US Court of International Trade.
