Jai Ho Yang is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of product liability and consumer claims litigation, corporate and M&A litigation, criminal defense litigation, construction and engineering disputes, banking, securities and finance litigation, and administrative and public law litigation.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Yang served in the judiciary for 16 years as a judge or a presiding judge at various District Courts. During his tenure as a judge, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of civil and criminal cases. Furthermore, he served as a director of Planning and Coordination Bureau at the National Court Administration of the Supreme Court of Korea, and as a legal advisor at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations in New York.

Mr. Yang received an LL.B. from Seoul National University College of Law in 1999, and his LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2011. He also attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2001.
