Inhwan Lee is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the fields of privacy, trade secret & corporate information protection, product liability & consumer claims and health. Mr. Lee has extensive experience advising the firm’s clients in the consumer products, IT and telecommunications industries as well as consulting global manufacturers and importers of motor vehicles and pharmaceutical, healthcare and medical device companies. 

Mr. Lee’s practice encompasses privacy and data protection law, compliance with relevant regulations, and data breach cases. He also regularly advises clients on various issues arising from complex commercial disputes as well as product liability litigation. Mr. Lee has represented multinational companies in investigations by government authorities including the Personal Information Protection Commission, as well as in tort and administrative litigations, especially those involving privacy and data protection issues. 

Mr. Lee has co-authored various articles including the Korea chapters of “The Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity Law Review (Edition 1),” “Getting the Deal Through – Data Protection & Privacy 2016,” and “Practical Law – Data Protection Global Guide 2015/16.” He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in both the United States and European privacy law.
