Attorney Hyunju Chang of Kim & Chang has provided legal advice and counsel in areas such as construction/real estate disputes, labor/employment disputes and domestic/inheritance disputes.

Ms. Chang served as a judge at the Seoul Central District Court and a senior administrative officer at the Office of Legal Secretary of the Office of the President, and has extensive experience in litigation. Currently, she is active in the field of construction and real estate disputes. In particular, she provides litigation and advisory services on issues related to the field of real estate development, such as reconstruction, redevelopment and urban development. For many years, Ms. Chang lectured on reconstruction and redevelopment at the Construction Real Estate Law Training Institute of the Seoul Bar Association. In addition, she has provided advice, internal investigations and preventive training on issues regarding the improvement of workplace culture, such as sexual harassment, harassment and discrimination in the workplace, which have recently been newly raised at the ESG level. Moreover, based on her experience in various family cases and understanding of people, she provides litigation and advisory services in the fields of domestic affairs, inheritance and property management.

Obtaining recognition for her extensive experience in construction and real estate, Ms. Chang served as a member of the Public Land Reservation Deliberation Committee, the Real Estate Service Industry Policy Committee, and the Defect Examination Dispute Mediation Committee under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In 2017 and 2021, Ms. Chang was introduced as a leading lawyer actively engaged in the construction and real estate sector by the Legal Times.
