Hyung Soo Chon is a senior advisor in Kim & Chang’s Tax Audit & Tax Dispute Resolution Practice.

Mr. Chon’s representative works in recent years include advising major domestic and international companies on tax audit and dispute matters, including tax consulting.

Mr. Chon joined Kim & Chang in 2005, after 29 years of distinguished service with the Korea National Tax Service (NTS) and the National Tax Tribunal (NTT) of the Ministry of Finance and Economy. At these institutions he served in numerous senior positions, including the Commissioner of the Seoul Regional Tax Office (2005), the Commissioner of the Tax Tribunal (2004), the Assistant Commissioner for Inspection (2003), and the Commissioner of the Daejon Regional Tax Office (2001).
