Grace Park is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang. Ms. Park practiced law at Kim & Chang as one of the core members of the firm’s Telecommunication, Media, and Technology Practice. Throughout her career, Ms. Park has been actively involved in a number of high-profile cases in Korea or relating to Korean businesses, including global IT and e-business companies concerning anti-trust, privacy and data protection laws, e-Commerce and other technology regulation issues. In particular, Ms. Park has ample experience in numerous government and regulatory investigations in regards to TMT-related matters for the firm’s leading clients in the TMT sector. Seasoned in a diverse array of competition and privacy law issues, she is particularly known for her expertise and experience with abuse of market dominance, unfair trade practices and privacy.

Ms. Park successfully led a team that overturned a 2017 KFTC decision against a US-based advanced materials company for unfairly restricting the sale of its products through certain distribution channels. The milestone decision marked the first case where the Korean Supreme Court concluded that non-pricing vertical restraint is legal under Korean competition law.

Ms. Park received her law degree from Korea University’s College of Law in 2012 and graduated form the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2014. Ms. Park also has an LL.M. degree in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford Law School, possessing extensive knowledge in the most recent global trends in technology-related laws and policies.
