Eui-Hwan Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of litigation, intellectual property, antitrust and competition, tax audit and dispute resolution, and white collar criminal defense. 

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kim served in the Korean judiciary for 26 years, first as a judge in district court and later as a senior presiding judge both in district courts and high courts. During his tenure as a judge, Mr. Kim gained extensive experience in a wide range of matters in litigation (especially administrative and tax cases), intellectual property, and antitrust and competition. 

He has co-authored various publications, including the “Administrative Litigation I, II,” “Annotation Particulars of Criminal Law,” and “Theories and Practices of Administrative Litigation.” 

Mr. Kim received an LL.B. from the College of Law, Seoul National University. He attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 1987. He studied at Duke Law School as a visiting scholar in 1997.
