Do-Yoon Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang’s Labor & Employment Practice.

Since joining Kim & Chang in 2014, Mr. Kim has advised clients on various labor and employment issues such as ordinary wage and average wage cases, cases related to workers engaged in special types of work, dispatch and outsourcing cases, cases related to mergers and acquisitions, compliance audits in labor and employment sectors, disciplinary action cases, and labor disputes including industrial actions and unfair labor practices.

  • Advised on disputes over unfair labor practices and duties of fair representation of an overseas tobacco company, auto parts manufacturer, tire manufacturer and Korean general hospital.
  • Represented a domestic defense company and a public procurement company in lawsuits and advised on disputes with public institutions and public corporations (e.g., liquidated damages for delay, return of R&D expenses, restriction on bid participation qualification, cancellation of bid, violation of direct production obligation) under the Act on Contracts to which the State is a Party.
