Bio

Christina (Da Woon) Jeong is an experienced foreign attorney at Kim & Chang specializing in complex cross border international energy projects, including conventional and renewable power and natural resources infrastructure projects.

Ms. Jeong advises Korean, Japanese and other international corporates, export credit agencies and commercial lenders on various aspects of project financings. Her recent experience includes advising a Korean corporate on the financing of an EV gigafactory in Europe and advising a Japanese export credit agency on the financing of one of the world’s largest waste-to-energy plant in the Middle East.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang in Seoul, Ms. Jeong practiced law in the London and Tokyo offices of top international law firms. She also has significant in-house experience while being seconded at a Japanese export credit agency, Nippon Export and Investment Insurance ("NEXI"), working with NEXI’s power, infrastructure and natural resources teams.
