Jun Woo Cheong is an attorney at Kim & Chang who specializes in the antitrust & competition, TMT/ICT, and game & entertainment fields.

Mr. Cheong has advised various multinational and domestic clients, including those in the ICT, telecommunication, retail distribution, steel, e-commerce, and entertainment industries. He has extensive experience representing these companies in various antitrust issues, such as abuse of market dominance, mergers & acquisitions, cartel activities and unfair trade practices.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Cheong worked at a major Korean law firm for ten years. He also worked as a visiting lawyer at Eimer Stahl LLP’s San Jose office from September 2020 to February 2021.

Mr. Cheong completed his Ph.D program in Law from Seoul National University in 2024, received an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, in 2020. He also received a J.D. from Seoul National University’s School of Law in 2014, and graduated summa cum laude from Seoul National University’s College of Political Science and International Relations in 2010. He is admitted to the Korean bar.
