Bio

Soobin Ahn is a senior member of Kim & Chang’s Merger & Acquisitions Practice, Investment Management Practice, Private Equity Practice and Securities Practice.

Since joining Kim & Chang, he has regularly represented clients on high-profile domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, and assisted with the licensing or registration of investment vehicles for major domestic and global investment management groups. In addition, he has extensive experiences in matters relating to corporate governance, fund formation, and corporate and securities law.

Prior to re-joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Ahn worked at Viva Republica (Toss) as a team leader of the Corp Legal Team which was in charge of all corporate legal matters, including major fund raisings, M&A transactions, and other corporate law matters.

Mr. Ahn received an LL.M. from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law in 2019 and his J.D. from Korea University Law School in 2012. He received B.A. from Seoul National University School of Economics in 2009. He is admitted to the Korean bar and Illinois bar.
