Bio

Sung Joon Park is an attorney at Kim & Chang. With his substantial and diverse experience in courts, Mr. Park specializes in criminal defense litigation, product liability & consumer claims, corporate & M&A disputes, banking, securities & finance litigation, and administrative & public law litigation.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Park served in the Judiciary for 18 years as a high court judge of Seoul High Court and Busan High Court, and a judge of various courts including the Seoul Central District Court, Seoul Administrative Court, and Seoul Eastern District Court. During his tenure as a high court judge and a judge, he accumulated extensive experience in a wide range of civil, criminal, and administrative cases. Furthermore, he served as a director of judicial procedure for two years at the National Court Administration of the Supreme Court of Korea.

Mr. Park received an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2011 and his LL.B. from Seoul National University College of Law in 2000. He graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea and was admitted to the Korean bar in 2002.
