Pan-Woo Nam is a tax accountant at Kim & Chang who provides comprehensive advice in the areas of tax audit, international tax and other tax matters. 

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Nam worked at the National Tax Service (the “NTS”) and Ministry of Economy and Finance mainly focusing on international tax matters including tax audits, compliance and appeals. At the NTS, he served as the Director of International Tax Investigation Division and International Tax Resources Management Division, and later as the Assistant Commissioner of Tax Collection and Litigation Bureau at Jungbu Regional Tax Office. He also taught international tax theory and cases at the NTS Training Center, OECD Tax Center, and Kyung Hee University Graduate School of Law. 

Mr. Nam received a B.A. in Agricultural Economics from Seoul National University in 1995, passed the 38th Higher Civil Service Examination in 1994 and obtained a Juris Doctor at University of South Carolina in 2004. He is a Korean Tax Accountant and passed the New York Bar examination.
