Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Jeong served as a Deputy Director at the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, South Korea. Then, for 19 years he served as a judge and High Court judge in district courts and Seoul High Court, focusing on civil, criminal and administrative trials. Mr. Jeong also spent four years serving in the Sentencing Commission of the Supreme Court of Korea as an expert commissioner and senior expert commissioner responsible for setting and revising guideline standards.
