JinLan Sun is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang. She practices primarily in the areas of M&A, international disputes and arbitration, antitrust & competition, and financial services.

Throughout more than 15 years of her career, Ms. Sun has been actively involved in many high-profile transactions spanning across various areas such as banking, telecommunications, entertainment, automobiles, real estate, private equity and foods in Korea, greater China (Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and other regions. In particular, she specializes in advising on cross-border M&A transactions involving Chinese/Korean target companies and offshore targets where either a Chinese company or a Korean company is concerned. She also has extensive experience in advising corporations and financial institutions in all types of cross-border disputes and international arbitrations.

Besides her time at Kim & Chang, Ms. Sun also accumulated extensive experience in global high-profile M&A deals and financial advisory services working at Ashurst’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices.

Ms. Sun is a qualified PRC lawyer with experience working at both PRC law firms and international law firms. She is a native speaker of both Chinese and Korean and is also fluent in English.
