Bio

Su Yong Min is an attorney at Kim & Chang. A member of the Health and the International Trade & Customs Practices at Kim & Chang, Ms. Min has advised clients on a wide array of matters, including regulatory compliance, internal investigations, white collar criminal defense, and audits, as well as trade remedy cases in the US, Korea and the EU. 

Before joining the firm, Ms. Min litigated civil and criminal defense matters in state courts across Virginia, handling prosecution of civil claims such as contract disputes, malpractice claims and defamation, as well as defending clients accused of charges such as fraud, false pretenses, financial structuring, breach of fiduciary duties, assault and battery, malicious wounding, rape and a variety of misdemeanor matters. Ms. Min was appointed a Substitute Judge in 2012 by the 17th Judicial Circuit of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the first female Asian American to be so appointed to the Virginia judiciary, wherein she served part-time as a Substitute Judge in the district courts of Virginia, while practicing law full-time as a litigator. 

Ms. Min received her J.D. from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School in 2002, where she subsequently served as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing and Appellate Writing from 2007 to 2016. Ms. Min served as an Adjunct Professor at Korea University School of Law from 2015 to 2016, where she taught a summer seminar on U.S. Trial Practice in 2015.

Su Yong Min is an attorney at Kim & Chang.
