Moon-Sun Kyoung is an attorney at Kim & Chang. She primarily practices finance, real estate and corporate law for Korean and foreign companies, including securities, lease, hotel, asset management and trading companies, as well as banks and trust banks. 

Banking Specialist 

Her practice covers loans, ARPs, AMLs, cross-border regulation, foreign exchange issues and general corporate issues for banks. She advises on regulatory matters for financial institutions, including banks and securities companies.

Real Estate Practice Related to Japan and Korea

She handles real estate transactions in Korea and Japan. She counsels Korean investors and foreign investors on various issues relating to the acquisition and sale of Korean or Japanese real estate. Being fluent in Japanese, she communicates effectively and clearly with Japanese clients.

Ms. Kyoung worked at one of the big four Japanese law firms (Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, Tokyo, 2012) and at headquarters of a Japanese megabank (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, 2013) as secondment.

In 2012, she studied at Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, The University of Tokyo as a foreign research student. She received her LL.B. degree from College of Law, Seoul National University (2004). Prior to joining Kim & Chang, she worked at Yulchon LLC for eight years.
