Dong Seok Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the area of general litigation.

Before starting his career as an attorney, Mr. Kim served in the judiciary system for 16 years, first as a Judge and later as a Presiding Judge.

He also served as a Research Judge at the Supreme Court twice throughout his career.

During his term, he accumulated extensive experience and knowledge of diverse cases related to white-collar crime, corporate investigation, administrative conflict, maritime, real estate and construction. Throughout his career as a Judge in the Seoul Administrative Court, Mr. Kim was actively involved in relief procedures related to the Korean National and Local Administrative Agencies.

He is an expert in maritime cases from his work in the Seoul High Court where he handled various maritime cases involving overseas transaction, conflicts and shipping disputes.

He also enhanced his knowledge of real estate and construction cases. Mr. Kim received an LL.B. from the College of Law, Seoul National University in 1993.

He graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 1995 and he was admitted to the Korean Bar.
