Bio

Heesung Ahn is an attorney at Kim & Chang and is actively involved in the firm’s Real Estate Practice and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. He specializes in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, construction, private equity investment, corporate governance and the distribution industry. 

Since joining Kim & Chang in 2013, Mr. Ahn has represented and advised both overseas and domestic clients, including multinational corporations, PEFs, venture capitals, asset management companies, financial institutions, and strategic and financial investors, in cross-border and domestic transactions. He has extensive experience and expertise in structuring, negotiating and implementing complex and high-profile transactions. 

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Ahn worked as a judge advocate in the Republic of Korea Army after his graduation from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2010. He received his LL.B. from Seoul National University College of Law in 2007.
