Won Seok Cho is an attorney in Kim & Chang’s Japan and Labor & Employment Practices, serving Japanese clients in Japanese language.

Mr. Cho regularly advises Japanese clients doing business in Korea (including Japanese major banks and trading companies) on day-to-day legal issues affecting the workplace, including employee discipline and terminations, unions and collective bargaining negotiations and strategy, workforce reductions, employment contracts, labor-related issues in M&A and other human resources issues. He has defended numerous actions on behalf of clients before Korean authorities, including local labor commissions, the Police, the Prosecutors’ Office, the Courts and the National Labor Relations Commission.

He attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2007. He is admitted to the Korean bar.
