Wooyoung Cho is a senior Kim & Chang foreign attorney, who focuses her practice on finance.

Ms. Cho advised numerous global financial institutions on financial regulations, derivatives, cross-border financial transactions, and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cho was a corporate associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Ms. Cho’s co-authored publications include: “Getting the Deal Through - Private Banking & Wealth Management: Korea chapter,” and “Getting the Deal Through - Securities Litigation: Korea chapter,” published by Law Business Research (2016).

In 1998, Ms. Cho graduated from Korea University with a B.A. in English Literature, and received her M.A. from Yonsei University in 2000, as well as obtaining her M.Phil. from Columbia University in 2003, and her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007.

She is admitted to the New York bar.
