Bio

Si-gooy Lim is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the firm’s Litigation Practice.

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Lim served in the judiciary for 23 years, first as a judge in District Courts, and later as a presiding judge in High Courts. On the bench, he accumulated extensive experience in a wide range of civil, criminal, administrative and tax litigations.

Reflecting his long career as a judge, Mr. Lim is skilled in advising the firm’s various practices in civil, administrative and criminal litigations.

Mr. Lim earned his LL.B. from the College of Law, Seoul National University and completed the requirements for tax law at the Graduate School of Law, Seoul National University. He also studied at Waseda University, Japan as a visiting scholar in bankruptcy law. He is admitted to the Korean bar.
