As a patent specialist at the firm, Mr. Kim is an expert in patent, trademarks, design, and trade secret infringement cases. 

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kim served in the Korean judiciary for 16 years, initially as a district court judge, and later as a judge at the Patent Court and a research judge at the Supreme Court of Kore. During his tenure as a judge, Mr. Kim gained extensive experiences in a variety of litigations involving intellectual property related issues. 

He received his LL.B. from Yonsei University and attended Judicial Research & Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. He is admitted to the Korean bar.
