Gye-Jeong Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang who specializes in Fintech & IT Compliance, Financial Regulation & Compliance, and Privacy & Data Security. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Kim’s practice has primarily focused on matters where law intersects with technology. Ms. Kim has been actively involved in advising on some of the most cutting-edge and cross-border legal issues in the areas of fintech, privacy and data security. 

She has co-authored various publications, including “The Korean Premium: Cryptocurrency – Arbitrage Phenomenon in Korea” (NYSBA International Law Practicum). 

Ms. Kim joined a Visiting Scholar program at the Harvard Law School in 2019-2020. Ms. Kim received a J.D. from the Sungkyunkwan University Law School in 2013, and her M.S. and B.S. from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in 2005 and 2003, respectively. She is admitted to the Korean bar.
