Byung-Woo Im and Dami Park, members of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated as speakers in the “Recent Cases and Issues: International Construction/Engineering Contracts” seminar co-hosted by the Society of Construction Law, Korea (“SCL Korea”) and the Korea Engineering & Consulting Association (“KENCA”).

The seminar was held at the Corea Conference Center on April 19, 2024. The seminar invited SCL Korea’s legal professionals and experts specialized in overseas construction as speakers to share legal and contractual issues of overseas construction projects with Korean industry professionals.

Ms. Park participated as a speaker in session one and introduced the latest cases on bond calls. Mr. Im attended session two and discussed the impact of the Saudi civil law on construction/engineering projects in Saudi Arabia.
