Sae Youn Kim and Joonhak Choi, members of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated as speakers in a seminar titled “Cross-Examination in International Arbitration for Korean Practitioners: Part 2,” which was jointly organized by KCAB INTERNATIONAL and Dechert LLP. The seminar was held on July 18, 2023.

Following the “Part 1” of the seminar, which was held in November 2022, the Part 2 delved into “Mock cross-examinations.” Based on the theoretical training provided in Part 1, junior members of the international arbitration community, including Mr. Choi, conducted mock cross-examinations. Ms. Kim, together with other senior members of the community, sat as arbitrators and shared insights on how to effectively conduct a cross-examination from the perspective of Korean practitioners.
