Sae Youn Kim and Hye Sung Kim, members of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, were invited as speakers to a seminar organized by the Korean Council for International Arbitration (the “KOCIA”). The seminar, titled “Focusing on Dispute Resolution and Technology,” was held on May 25, 2023.
The seminar commenced with opening remarks from Ms. Sae Youn Kim, Vice President of the KOCIA. The seminar featured two panel discussions, focusing on the role of mediators and the impact of ChatGPT in dispute resolution. Leading practitioners in the field, including Ms. Hye Sung Kim, actively led the discussions.
In particular, Ms. Hye Sung Kim participated as a panelist in the session titled “Mediation: Is the Role of Mediator Underrated or Overrated?” Drawing from her extensive experience, she discussed the pros and cons of mediation. Ms. Hye Sung Kim also organized the event as a member of the Event Management Committee of the KOCIA.
