Harold Noh, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated as a speaker in the 7th IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum Biennial Conference, hosted by the International Bar Association (the “IBA”).  The conference was held in Singapore and lasted for three days, from February 22-24, 2023.

The conference consisted of sessions that addressed various issues that are currently being raised in cross-border disputes, including ESG, regulations on digital assets, and legal and policy issues related to economic sanctions.

Mr. Noh participated as a speaker in the session titled “Navigating Dispute Resolution Clauses,” focusing on multi-tiered dispute resolution clauses.  In particular, he shared his experience regarding the enforceability of multi-tiered dispute resolution clauses and some of the latest developments, such as judicial decisions of courts in the Asia-Pacific region.
