Sae Youn Kim, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated in a forum titled “The 2022 China-Japan-Korea Forum on International Commercial Mediation,” jointly organized by the Korea International Mediation Centre (“KIMC”), the Japan International Mediation Center (“JIMC”), the Shanghai Commercial Mediation Center (“SCMC”) and the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice(“KICJ”).  The forum was held on November 29, 2022 at Trade Tower, Seoul.

The seminar took the form of three interactive discussions among dispute resolution practitioners and mediators.  The panelists discussed the implementation of the Singapore Convention and international commercial mediation in Korea, China and Japan.  In particular, in the context of this discussion, Ms. Kim shared case studies on international commercial mediation.
