“Balancing the Protection of Foreign Investors and States - Responses in the Post-Pandemic World” Book Release Webinar

Sue Hyun Lim, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated as a panelist in the book release event for the book Balancing the Protection of Foreign Investors and States Responses in the Post-Pandemic World.  The event was held online in the form of a webinar on November 25, 2022.

Edited by Yulia Levashova and Pascale Accaoui Lorfing, two experts in investment law and international law, the book discusses the debate on the reform of the international investment agreement regime brought to the fore with renewed force by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Ms. Lim, in collaboration with Professor Hi-Taek Shin of Twenty Essex, contributed to the book on the chapter titled “Balancing the Protection of Foreign Investors and States - Responses in the Post-Pandemic World: Perspectives from Korea.”

In the webinar, Ms. Lim and a highly interactive panel consisting of the experts from South Korea, India and Hong Kong, addressed post-pandemic developments from the perspective of the Asian economies.
