Chul-Won Lee, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated as a panelist in a seminar titled “Crypto Winter: The Asia Pacific’s Shifting Crypto Dispute Landscape,” which was organized by Shearman & Sterling.  The seminar was held on November 8, 2022 at the KCAB Academy, Seoul, as part of the Seoul ADR Festival 2022.

The seminar took the form of an interactive discussion among financial experts and dispute resolution practitioners.  The panelists discussed major shifts in the crypto dispute landscape in the Asia-Pacific region since the onset of the “crypto winter” in late 2021-early 2022.

In the context of this discussion, Mr. Lee introduced the significant legal and practical challenges that crypto disputes can raise for relevant parties, legal counsel and experts.
