Matthew J. Christensen, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated in a seminar on “How to reduce disputes in construction projects” organized by Barton Legal from the UK.  The seminar was held on 6 October, 2022 at Ashton Hall in the British Embassy, Seoul.

The seminar took the form of an interactive discussion among dispute resolution practitioners and construction professionals, all of whom shared many practical tips for managing risks and reducing disputes at various stages of a construction project.

In the context of this discussion, Mr. Christensen, who currently serves as the Co-Chair of the International Construction Projects Committee of the IPBA, shared insights gleaned from experience on how to effectively manage risks in the early stages of a construction dispute, including in situations where assistance from technical or other experts is needed.
