On June 22, 2022, Sae Youn Kim of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice participated in the 7^th ICC Asia Pacific Conference on International Arbitration as moderator.

The conference is annually hosted by ICC, inviting internationally renowned arbitration practitioners to discuss the latest regional developments and future trends in dispute resolution.  As a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Ms. Kim assumed the position of moderator in the third session of the seminar titled “The Tale of Building Trust: Arbitration and ADR as the go to dispute settlement mechanism for pharmaceutical and biotechnology disputes.”  In particular, Ms. Kim led the discussions on how arbitration and/or other ADR mechanisms may benefit parties in different types of pharmaceutical and biotechnology disputes.
