On December 14, 2021, Kim & Chang and Atkin Chambers co-hosted a webinar titled, “The power of words: challenges to arbitral awards on jurisdictional grounds,” which focused on five recent cases from the courts of the UK, Australia and Singapore.

The session was the second of the webinar series “In Conversation with Kim & Chang and Atkin Chambers.”  The in-depth discussion, led by Atkin Chambers’ Andrew Goddard QC and Shourav Lahiri as well as Kim & Chang’s Byung-Woo Im and Sungjean Seo, addressed issues regarding the jurisdiction and power of arbitral tribunals, referencing key issues from five court decisions that addressed the challenges arising from the jurisdictional grounds of arbitral awards.
