On November 2, 2021, Hye Sung Kim, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at a webinar co-hosted by Korean Council for International Arbitration (KOCIA) and Korea In-house Counsel Association (KICA).

Titled “Trends and Developments in International Arbitration in 2021,” the webinar was held as part of the Seoul ADR Festival 2021. 

Ms. Kim, the overall facilitator of KOCIA, organized the event.  During the two sessions of the webinar–“Cutting the fat in international arbitration” and “New frontiers in international arbitration - ESG, Technology and Finance”–recent trends and developments in international arbitration, including the recent rise of ESG issues and how international arbitration can be an effective dispute resolution method, were discussed.
