On October 26, 2021, Hye Sung Kim, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at a webinar co-hosted by Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB International) and Korean Council for International Arbitration (KOCIA).

Titled “Can You Hear Me, Madame President? Oral Advocacy in Virtual Hearings in 2021: Lessons Learned and Strategies for the Future,” the webinar was held as part of the Hong Kong Arbitration Week 2021. 

In this webinar, Ms. Kim discussed new challenges and opportunities brought by virtual hearings.  In particular, Ms. Kim shared best practices and know-hows, the importance of opening and closing statements and effective use of technology in virtual hearings.
