On July 7, 2021, Eun Young Park, the co-chair of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at SIAC Academy hosted by Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”).

SIAC Academy offers practical, “hands-on” training on advocacy and arbitrator training for arbitration counsel and aspiring arbitrators.  Participating as a faculty member in this program, Dr. Park delivered a lecture on the “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in Asia: Theory & Practice – Part 6: South Korea.”

In particular, Dr. Park, as the Chair of SIAC Users Council South Korea National Committee and a member of SIAC Court of Arbitration, discussed the legal system of international arbitration and enforcement of the award, definition of an arbitral award and interim orders, and grounds for annulment of awards.
