Joon Lee (Korean patent attorney), Won Kim (Korean attorney), Hyun Shik Oh (Korean patent attorney), Tae Ho Min (Korean patent attorney) and Hisanori Aoki (Japanese patent attorney) in Kim & Chang's Intellectual Property (“IP”) Practice were invited to speak as lecturers at the Japan Intellectual Property Association (“JIPA”) Training Course Workshop.  Presenting on the Korean patent system, they highlighted recent developments in examination, trial, and litigation procedures, case studies, and practical aspects to consider.

JIPA is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1938.  With the objective of contributing to the creation of a better IP environment, JIPA studies and addresses global IP-related issues and policies, and regularly hosts formal and informal gatherings to bring together IP professionals for exchanges of information, cooperation, and networking.  This year’s workshop was held online on June 18, 2021.
