On the topic of “Key Provisions of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and Response Measures,” Kim & Chang hosted a joint webinar with the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (“SCCA”) on February 4, 2021. 

This webinar was aimed at enhancing the understanding of regional counsel and relevant officers at global companies and APAC offices, as well as discussing potential impact of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act (the “SAPA”) on their businesses.  Sungmin Won, Kyson Keebong Paek and June Lee of Kim & Chang participated as speakers in the webinar.

Through FAQ and Q&A sessions, webinar participants engaged in in-depth discussions of the details of the SAPA and practical measures that businesses can take before the SAPA becomes effective.
