On October 27, 2020, Kim & Chang hosted the Maritime/Overseas Construction webinar with Al Tamimi & Co. and International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK).

In this webinar, with opening remarks by Essam Al Tamimi, the founder of Al Tamimi & Co., and Byung-Chol (B.C.) Yoon, Chul-Won Lee and Dami Park, members of Kim & Chang’s maritime/construction disputes team, shared practical tips on risk management in overseas projects for Korean construction companies.

Mr. Lee discussed key considerations for barge operation in maritime/construction projects, and Ms. Park provided useful tips on how to respond to potential disputes caused by defects in overseas projects.
