On September 2, 2020, Eun-Young Park, the Co-Chair of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at SIAC Congress 2020 hosted by Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”).  SIAC is one of the most prominent international arbitral institutions and SIAC Congress is a biennial event hosted by SIAC to share developments in international arbitration and to discuss how to resolve international disputes effectively.

This year, speakers including Dr. Park examined the strengths of international arbitration in the COVID-19 pandemic era and the confluence of civil and common law influences in international arbitration.  Especially, Dr. Park, the Chair of SIAC Users Council South Korea National Committee and a member of SIAC Court of Arbitration, participated as the Chair arbitrator in the event’s virtual mock hearing.  This webinar was attended by more than 1,200 participants including in-house counsels and attorneys from across the world.
