On July 22, 2020, Byung-Woo Im, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at a webinar hosted by the International Construction Law Society.

At this webinar titled “Key Legal Issues on Overseas Construction Sites,” the speakers, including Mr. Im, discussed practical tips on managing COVID-19 claim risks and introduced related cases.

Mr. Im, a committee member of the International Construction Law Society, organized the webinar.  Mr. Im specifically focused on legal issues including force majeure, mitigation and suspension in overseas construction sites, especially in the Middle East.
