On April 28, 2020, Sungwoo Kim, head of the Environment & Energy Research Institute at Kim & Chang, participated as a panelist at the Fifth Carbon Market and Trade Competition Seminar.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy sponsored the seminar and invited seven energy experts to discuss EU’s carbon tax and business implications. Dr. Kim proposed that carbon tax should be determined based on factors such as carbon price and facility efficiencies.
