On October 28, 2019, Duck Soon Chang, a member of Kim & Chang's Intellectual Property Practice, participated as a moderator in a panel discussion at the IP-Tech Arbitration Conference, held in Seoul. During the session titled “IP and Tech License Disputes: Common Problems and How to Deal with Them,” Mr. Chang facilitated the discussion on recent trends, challenges and strategic considerations in cross-border arbitration.
The event was co-organized by Korean Commercial Arbitration Board International and Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center, and sponsored by several organizations and law firms including Kim & Chang. It proved to be a unique platform in bringing together IP and arbitration professionals from around the world to network and discuss current key issues and better ways to resolve IP and technology disputes.
