On May 20, 2019, Kim & Chang hosted the International Construction Lecture Series seminar hosting Keating Chambers. 

In this lecture series, Richard Harding QC and Justin Mort QC from Keating Chambers presented on “Practical Issues for Successful Resolution of Construction Claims,” discussing practical issues for the successful resolution of contraction claims, specifically, with reference to complex construction projects in the Middle East and other regions.  

In the panel discussion that followed, Sungjean Seo, Daewoong Lee and Don Jeon, members of Kim & Chang’s construction disputes team, participated as panelists and shared their recent experience in representing international contractors in arbitrations involving large projects in the Middle East.

Byung-Woo Im, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, organized this event.  Kim & Chang’s International Construction & Project Team plans to continue inviting world-renowned construction specialist attorneys, and host lectures that provide helpful information to Korean companies engaging in overseas projects.
