On May 2, 2019, Han-Cheol Kang, an attorney in Kim & Chang’s Health Practice, spoke at the Fourth Healthcare Policy Forum, which was held by Korea Pharmaceutical Association News and HIT (Healthcare Information Top) News. 

During the forum’s session on “Rebate Reimbursement Suspension Issues and Plans for Improvement,” Mr. Kang examined rebate and drug pricing and benefits plan policies that have changed in recent years.  He discussed the impact of reimbursement suspension, examples of such cases, causes of policy change, and key takeaways for the industry.  He also spoke about the statute of limitations of rebates – a topic that has recently received much attention in the healthcare industry.
