On January 17, 2019, Kim & Chang co-hosted a seminar for companies entering the Vietnamese and Indonesian markets with Korea International Trade Association (KITA) at COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul.

• Legal issues related to M&A and privatization in Vietnam;
• Managing compliance risks in Vietnam;
• How to handle risks relating to transfer pricing in Vietnam and Indonesia;
• How to manage tax issues of subsidiaries abroad;
• Legal issues relating to foreign companies operating in Indonesia; and 
• Summary of the Indonesian tax system & introduction to recent tax disputes and future outlook.

Approximately 320 business leaders participated in this seminar, and discussed market entry strategies for Vietnam and Indonesia
