Seong-Koo Cheong, a Kim & Chang attorney, received the President’s commendation for financial innovation on October 30, 2018, the third annual Finance Day. 

Mr. Cheong was recognized for providing legal advisory services to the National Assembly, the Financial Services Commission’s various task forces, and other public organizations regarding credit information, credit evaluation, and the use of financial data.  

Finance Day is a legally mandated annual event designed to raise public awareness of the importance of finance and to recognize financial institutions with excellent services.  This year marked its third anniversary.  More than 500 people, including Jong-Ku Choi, Chairman of the Financial Services Commission (“FSC”), and Suk-Heun Yoon, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service (“FSS”), as well as awardees and representatives of financial institutions gathered together for this prestigious event.
