On August 22-24, 2018, Seoul National University School of Law and Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (“KCAB”) co-hosted the Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds of Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (“FDI Moot”) at Seoul National University.

Kim & Chang attorneys have supported FDI Moot events every year as members of the organizing committee and as arbitrators.  This year, Byung-Chol (B.C.) Yoon, co-chair of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, as well as Kim & Chang attorneys Wonil Chang and Hyun Wook Lew participated as arbitrators, providing feedback to the students.

Annually held since 2008, FDI Moot is a global competition aimed at raising future legal practitioners’ awareness and interest in international investment disputes.  A total of 130 students on 20 teams participated in this year’s event, and roughly 80 international arbitration experts participated as arbitrators.
