Dae Hyun Seo, an attorney at Kim & Chang presented at an informational session in Busan on “Intellectual Property Policies for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.”  

During his talk, Mr. Seo discussed patent and trade secret strategies to protect SME inventions and know-hows.  

This event was hosted by the Korea Intellectual Property Office and Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and was well attended by small and medium-sized business operators from various industries, including IT.  Among the many prominent sponsors were the Korea Copyright Commission, Korea Invention Promotion Association, and other local institutions.  The aim of the event was to strengthen the abilities of small and medium-sized enterprises to become creators and users in intellectual property.
